David commenced as a barrister in February 2005 after 2 years employment at Allens and a year as associate to his Honour Justice Callinan AC.

David’s principal area of practice is commercial law. He appears in bankruptcy and insolvency matters, banking and finance matters, property disputes, business and contractual disputes and professional negligence matters. David has also practised in criminal and family law matters that have a commercial aspect.

David was recommended on Doyle’s Guide in 2015 and 2016 as a leading Queensland commercial litigation and disputes barrister and he was a recommended barrister in the same category nationally in 2015 and 2016. He was recommended as preeminent on the Queensland insolvency barristers Doyle’s Guide in 2015.

David appears for banks, liquidators and receivers, financiers, developers and businesses.
